New Patients at GC Dental
Welcome to GC Dental! You’ll be greeted by our receptionist and given paperwork to complete if you haven’t filled out the forms online before your appointment. We’ll offer you a coffee or tea and you can relax before your appointment starts. We always endeavour to start on time so patients don’t have to wait too long. Here, we aim to attend to your needs at every visit.
What to Expect
Next, we’ll introduce you to the dentist, who will ask you what you’re coming in for and what you hope to achieve. The dentist will do a full checkup and take two bitewing X-rays.
If we have any concerns or depending on what your concerns are we may do a CBCT and get a full comprehensive examination of your jaw, including the bones and the tissues. If you’re coming in for oral implants or orthodontic treatment, we will take a CBCT. But for a routine checkup and clean we don’t take a CBCT.
The standard appointment time is 30 minutes for a checkup and clean as well as a new patient comprehensive exam, two bitewings, a scale and polish and fluoride. The fee is approximately $340.
Free Consultations
We provide free consults for complex treatments such as All-on-4 or full mouth rehab. Our orthodontist provides a 30-minute free consultation. If we take imaging or any records there will be a charge for that. If we take a CBCT on the day of the consultation we will charge for that as well. However, if you proceed with the treatment we will discount the cost of the CBCT from the total fee.
Complimentary Dental Pack
Before you leave, we will give you a welcome pack that includes toothbrush, toothpaste and some fliers about what we do and procedures we provide.
